Unity Through Response & Imitation
This Sunday, our study of God’s Word was in book of Ephesians. The
passage that we looked at begins at a turning point in Paul’s letter to the Christians in
Ephesus. In the first three chapters, he had been labouring on what believer’s must know about
Christ; whereas in the final three chapters have to do with how we must live in Christ. The first
three chapters focus on a believer’s position; whereas the final three chapters focus on a be-
liever’s practice. The first three talk about our spiritual wealth, whereas the final three talk about
our spiritual walk. The very first subject matter that Paul deals with at this half-way turning point,
is the very important subject of unity between believers. Take a read through the passage in the
week ahead, and notice the specific instruction that Paul gives to us as believers about unity.
