Membership

If you would like to identify with Redemption Church as your church family for this next season, the way that we recognise this commitment to fellowship & unity is through church membership.

In becoming a member, you will be included in things such as the church phone & address directory, the church email group (for prayer requests, activities throughout the week, & classifieds), monthly prayer requests compiled for members, access to the member’s website login, along with the option of serving in ministries within the church.

At Redemption Church, this is what it means to be a member of our fellowship:

  1. I acknowledge that I am a baptised, born again believer, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for Salvation.
  2. I have read and understood the church’s statement of faith and accept that any doctrines taught will be in line with this.
  3. I have read and understood the core-values of Redemption Church, and have listened to the relevant teachings on each subject where clarification was needed. I accept that these values form the Biblical foundation for the vision and direction of this fellowship.
  4. I am committing myself to regular fellowship for the purpose of corporate worship, bible teaching, prayer and communion, under the leadership of biblically-qualified elders.

If you agree with what is written above and would like to proceed in becoming a member, identifying with Redemption Church as your church family, please speak with one of the pastor-elders to arrange a time to discuss this.

        Jason Winslade, pastor-elder (jason@redemptionchurch.org.nz)

        Kris Baines, pastor-elder (kris@redemptionchurch.org.nz)

Once a person/family is accepted as a church member, the rest of the fellowship will be notified and the person/family will be acknowledged & prayed for as part of a Sunday gathering.
